Webinar Recap: How to Host a Candidate Forum
For generations past and to come, the League of American Bicyclists is the grassroots movement to create safer roads, stronger communities, and a Bicycle Friendly America for everyone. Through education, advocacy, and promotion, we work to make biking better at every level from your local town hall to Capitol Hill.
An essential part of the League’s advocacy work includes providing resources like webinars to empower local leaders and advocates. By giving grassroots leaders a platform to share their experiences and ideas, webinars capture institutional knowledge that can inspire change across the country.
This past week, we were fortunate to be joined by Mike Sule, Executive Director of Asheville on Bikes, for a webinar about How to Host a Candidate Forum. He broke down the hows and whys of hosting a candidate forum so you can ensure voters get real insights into candidates’ thinking on the issues that matter in your community. Plus, you can hear some insightful questions from the audience following the presentation, so stick around until the end!
