You’re Invited: Meet and Greet with Climate Ride Director in DC
Since 2008, hundreds of people have united to pedal 300 miles through the California forest and the hills of New York all in the name of climate protection — and better biking!
Interested in joining the effort — and having the ride of your life? If you’re in Washington, D.C., come learn more about the Climate Ride this Monday, June 24th, at 6 p.m. The five-day bike ride from New York City to Washington, D.C., coming up September 21-25, is an amazing journey and “green conference on wheels” that raises money to support nonprofits working to protect the climate and make streets safer for biking — including the League!
Start planning for the ride of your life by joining us for a happy hour meet-and-greet with Climate Ride director Blake Holiday next week! Over light food and beverages, we’ll talk about the joy and excitement of Climate Ride and its impact in supporting climate protection and bicycle advocacy. Staff of the League, Alliance for Biking & Walking, and Green America — all beneficiaries of the ride‘s fundraising efforts — will be on hand to share information about their organizations and experiences on the Ride!
Don’t miss out: Click here to register today and reserve your spot!
And if you’re on the West Coast, be sure to look into the California Climate Ride, which takes place May 17-20, 2014!
