Lessons from Lime Data: How cities can use shared micromobility data for transportation planning and policy

September 25 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Earlier this year, Washington, DC and Bloomington, Indiana were selected as the first winners of the Lime Mobility Insights Competition, hosted in partnership between Lime and the League of American Bicyclists. A team of policy researchers, planners, and other experts at Lime, the League, and the cities used Lime ridership data to better understand critical transportation issues, including safety, infrastructure use, and parking. The collaboration also identified ways that Lime’s data can be used beyond benchmarking a shared micromobility program to also inform other city departments’ activities and contribute to transportation funding applications and other efforts.

Hear from experts at Lime and the League of American Bicyclists, who will share the results of the Mobility Insights Competition report, as well as practitioners from DC and Bloomington, who will share their perspectives and plans to further leverage the data and insights from this competition.
