Through work, I teach youth and adults bike safety in schools and the community during bike rodeos, Smart Cycling classes, and other events. We work closely with our local bike education and advocacy group, Chico Velo, schools, LCIs, and other programs to carry out our work. We provide helmets and other safety equipment to community members.
Through volunteer work with an adapted sports organization, I help provide opportunities youth and adults with physical disabilities to learn bike skills, safety, and fun! We provide the adapted cycles, conduct come and try days, training days, and take part in local rides as an adapted cycling team.
