Join the Bikes-on-Bridges conference call today

Join us for the “Learning for the Bridge Access Report” conference call. Jackie Douglas from LivableStreets in Boston,  Eric Rogers from the Missouri Bicycle and Pedestrian Federation, and Don Sparks from Charleston Moves will share the lessons from their current and successful bridge-access campaigns. I’ll talk about our new report “Bridging the Gaps in Bicycling Networks: An advocate’s guide to getting bikes on bridges,” which features those stories and more. (See our earlier post.)

Scottsdale, Arizona, USA, celebrated the completion of the first bridge designed by renowned architect-artist Paolo Soleri to be constructed in the world.

Paolo Soleri, members of Cosanti Foundation, City of Scottsdale, Scottsdale Public Art, and more than 1,500 dignitaries, residents and visitors, gathered at the Downtown Scottsdale canal waterfront December 10-11, 2010, for the dedication of the recently completed Soleri Bridge and Plaza.
