Stories from the Field: AARP Bike Audit Tool Kit in Action

February 26 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The AARP Bike Audit Tool Kit is a free online and printed resource that can help transform communities, one block or intersection at a time. Created by AARP Livable Communities with the League of American Bicyclists, this 32-page guide can be used by cycling advocates and local leaders to assess and improve the safety and accessibility of a community’s streets and paths for all users, including cyclists.

For the second year, the League of American Bicyclists is partnering with AARP in 2025 to help local groups implement bike audits through the AARP Community Challenge Capacity-Building Microgrants. In this webinar, you will hear from three groups that received AARP Community Challenge Bike Audit Capacity-Building Microgrants last year, about how they used the AARP Bike Audit Tool Kit to evaluate bike infrastructure, engage with local community partners, and develop actionable recommendations to local decision makers to improve their communities for cycling.

Join us to learn from last year’s grantees and be inspired by what you can do with the AARP Bike Audit Tool Kit in your community, including applying for an AARP Community Challenge grant before the March 5th deadline!
