Engineering

Does your campus have a well-connected, low-stress bicycling network?(Required)
Is secure, convenient bike parking readily available throughout the campus?(Required)
Is the college or university easily accessible by bike?(Required)
Does the college or university work with or advocate in your community to improve local conditions for bicycling?(Required)

Education

Does the school offer bicycle education classes for students and staff?(Required)
Do any academic courses engage students on topics that relate to bicycling policy, planning, engineering, advocacy, or public health?(Required)
Are professional drivers or fleet operators on campus required to take Bicycle Friendly Driver training as part of their job?(Required)

Encouragement

Is there an active bicycle advocacy group and at least one social or recreational bike club at the college or university?(Required)
Is there an on-campus bike center for rentals and repairs?(Required)
Does the campus regularly host signature bicycling events and/or rides throughout the school year?(Required)

Evaluation & Planning

Does your school have a current comprehensive bicycle plan?(Required)
Does your college or university have a Bicycle Program Manager or similar staff role?(Required)

Equity & Accessibility

Are all bicycling events, classes, and rides on campus designed to be inclusive and accessible to all?(Required)
Are bicycle facilities such as bike parking designed to accommodate all styles of bikes, including e-bikes, adaptive cycles, and cargo bikes?(Required)
Does the college or university proactively work to engage new and potential cyclists by offering Learn-to-Ride classes, a bike buddy, ambassador, or mentor program, and social bike rides for beginners?(Required)
