Tools to Gear Up for Your Bike Summit Trip

#NBS16We’ll keep this one brief, as I’m sure you’re busy getting ready for the National Bike Summit & Women’s Forum.

Schedule and Background Info

First, if you haven’t already checked out our online schedule, take a look here. You can set up your personal daily schedule, check out speakers and sponsors, and fill out feedback surveys after attending the sessions.

Next, are you joining us on Capitol Hill for Lobby Day on Wednesday, March 9? We hope so, as the asks you made of your elected officials in 2015 made a big difference.

Here are the asks for 2016.

We are offering two webinars on What You Need to Know Before You Go, so you can be prepared to lobby your Congressional offices. The first webinar aired on Wednesday, February 24. Check it out on YouTube. The second one aired on Wednesday, March 2. You can view it here.

Social Media

Now for the hashtags you can use and follow on social media to keep on top of all the cool things in and around (spoiler alert) #NBS16.

#NBS16 — This is the general tag to use to make sure that everyone can find your Summit-related posts.

#BikeSummitSelfie — When you’re attending sessions, when you run into old friends or make new ones, when you’re visiting offices on Capitol Hill, this is the one to use to share photos of you and other Summit attendees. When you post on Instagram or Twitter using the #BikeSummitSelfie tag (along with the #NBS16 tag so everyone will see your selfie or group shot), you’ll be eligilble to win a selfie stick … and Internet fame!

And be sure to follow @bikeleague on Instagram and on Twitter if you don’t already!
