Summit Advocacy Awards Finalists Announced!
The League of American Bicyclists is proud to announce the finalists for the 2016 Advocacy Awards that will be presented at the National Bike Summit & Women’s Forum’s Awards Night on March 7. Together with the Alliance for Biking and Walking, we received over 110 nominations in seven categories about great people doing work to advance the safety and comfort of bicyclists in the United States. There are many nominees who would make excellent awardees, but the ones below stood out from the crowd and we are excited to recognize them!
Finalists — Bicycle Club of the Year
Finalists — Bicycle Professional of the Year
Kathy Durham — City of Palo Alto
Scott Langer — City of Madison
Sarah Dodson & Amber Blake — City of Durango

In addition to those awards, we are proud to announce that two additional awards will be given out at the Awards Night — the Educator of the Year Award and the Legislator of the Year Award. Stay tuned for more information about finalists as we lead up to announcing the winners at the 2016 National Bike Summit and Women’s Forum!
