Gallery: Bike to School Day 2015!

Bike To School Day 2015 brought out people on bicycles, big and small, two and three wheels, on their morning journey to school.

The fourth annual Bike To School Day, organized by the National Center for Safe Routes to School, saw more than 2,100 schools preregistered for the event.

“Every child should have the opportunity to walk, bike or ride the bus to school safely,” U.S. Secretary of Transportation Anthony Foxx said in a press release celebrating Bike To School Day 2015. “Improving bicycle and pedestrian safety is a top priority for the Department, especially as more and more Americans are choosing these options for getting to work, school and other places. The Obama Administration is proud to support National Bike to School Day and encourages families to practice safe biking habits every day.”

We collected some of our favorite photos from the day below. We’ll be talking family biking during this Friday’s #BikeChat — tune in Friday at 2 p.m.!
