The Department of Environmental Quality and Public Works, the Kentucky Association for Environmental Education, and the Lexington Area Metropolitan Planning Organization are partnering to host an LCI Seminar, focused on certifying bilingual cyclists.
Ten sponsorships are available for bilingual applicants thanks to funding from the Paula Nye Memorial Grant. Sponsorships cover League membership and seminar registration. A travel stipend is also available for six recipients.
This seminar is open to anyone who wishes to attend, but those interested in receiving a scholarship must complete an additional application. After being accepted, you will receive a discount code to complete your registration for the seminar itself.
You are beginning the process of registering for a League Cycling Instructor (LCI) seminar. Please review these materials before proceeding:
- Steps to Becoming a League Instructor and LCI Seminar FAQs
- The Mission of the League of American Bicyclists
- LCI Code of Ethics
This form asks a variety of questions about your experience and knowledge pertaining to cycling. Please allow 30-45 minutes to complete your registration. You may save the form and resume it later, but the form must be completed prior to the registration close date, and starting a form will not hold a space in the seminar.
