This session will explore best practices for 501c3 advocacy groups to safely and effectively engage in local elections. Attendees will learn how to host candidate debates and forums, distribute candidate questionnaires and responses, organize group rides with candidates, engage candidates through multiple types of media, and collaborate with other local advocacy groups. This session will also provide a collaborative space to share best practices and lessons learned across the advocacy community, building a stronger network of election-savvy cycling advocates.
