Scott King grew up playing sports and enjoying the outdoors. After swimming competitively at Tulane University, he turned to triathlons as a natural way to stay active following law school. His passion for cycling led him and a group of friends to co-found SRAM – now a global leader in bicycle components.
At SRAM, Scott has held various leadership roles, including Head of Finance & Administration, Head of Global Aftermarket Sales, and managing the company’s first antitrust lawsuit.
Beyond SRAM, Scott is actively engaged in industry leadership, serving on the Legal, Physical Activity, and Cycling Technical Committees of the World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI), speaking at recent National Bicycle Dealer Association (NBDA) events as well as contributing to Cycling Industries Europe (CIE) and People for Bikes.
