Outspoken Cyclist podcast features National Bike Challenge
The 2017 National Bike Challenge has now grown to over 30,000 riders who have collectively logged over 20 million miles. To celebrate this, we wanted to share with you some episodes from the Outspoken Cyclist podcast where host Diane Jenks features a few stories submitted by Challenge riders.
At 55 minutes into this show, Zac Monnier from Harrisburg, PA, talks about his experiences riding and participating in the Challenge in the state capital. He talks about how “bicycles are a great way to re-invite people into the city” and how he joined the Challenge in part to “log his work” to cast a vote for more bicycle friendly infrastructure in Harrisburg.
Gernot Sauter lives in Dusseldorf, Germany, and is an employee of National Bike Challenge presenting sponsor, 3M. He participates in the event from abroad an employee of US-based 3M, adding in the company’s team miles. With 1,266 riders, 3M leads the workplace team challenge! 53 minutes into this podcast, Gernot shares the excitement of Dusseldorf hosting the Tour de France’s 2017 Grand Depart.
