Full Cycle: Part 4: Road Ride

Description: Road Ride gives students on-bike practice of special skills and sharing the road with traffic. Students practice with a group ride (9 to noon) and may optionally choose to be tested and graded (1 pm to 3 pm). Full Cycle is a four-part bike skills course composed of these sessions: 1. First Gear, introduction to essential skills and tips; 2. Fixing to Ride, basic bike fit, maintenance and fixing flat tires; 3. Traffic and Trails: speed, safety, and sharing road and trail; 4. Road Ride, on-bike practice ride (optional test from 1 to 3 pm). The course is based on the League of American Cyclists certificate curriculum.
