"Full Cycle" Bike Class Part 2 &3: Fixing to RideDate: Wednesday, July 9, 2008 Description: Fixing to Ride covers bike fit, gearing, basic maintenance, and how to fix a flat. Traffic and Trails covers techniques for speed and safety, traffic law and trail etiquette. Full Cycle is a four-part bike skills course composed of these sessions: 1. First Gear, introduction to essential skills and tips; 2. Fixing to Ride, basic bike fit, maintenance and fixing flat tires; 3. Traffic and Trails: speed, safety, and sharing road and trail; 4. Road Ride, on-bike practice ride (& optional test). The course is based on the League of American Cyclists certificate curriculum.
