Street Smart Cycling

Description: Learn to interact positively and confidently with traffic and get tips for riding through intersections and negotiating with cars--designed for young riders, recreational cyclists, and commuters. Workshop covers bicycle traffic laws, lane positioning, riding strategies, basic equipment and maintenance, emergency maneuvers, and safety. Classroom-only session includes demonstrations of emergency maneuvers and basic maintenance. Street Smart Cycling 2 is the accompanying on-bike session that is typically scheduled following Street Smart Cycling 1.
